The Video Editor will be responsible for all post-production edits on our video footage, especially for digital and social media. We’re looking for a multi-faceted candidate with strong storytelling capabilities, who also has a pulse on current social media video trends—especially Instagram and TikTok. The candidate should have an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro and basic working knowledge of After Effects, Apple Motion, and DaVinci Resolve.
On a limited basis, the candidate will serve as a videographer in the office; experience in videography for “lo-fi” social content. Video shoots will be planned to not conflict with other main responsibilities.
The Video Editor will work closely alongside an in-house team of art directors, designers, and producers.
Responsibilities:
• Primary focus will be on editing videos for digital, social media and digital ads
• Exporting and re-formatting video footage to a wide variety of ratios and compression formats
• Experience with spotting and executing upon editing trends for innovative TikTok and Instagram Reels content
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cooperation with art directors or other outside production/post-production resources
• Experience with Frame.io, InVision, Google Drive, and Microsoft 360 suite of tools is required
