Position Overview:
A real estate private equity company with a market capitalization of over $1.5 billion is seeking an Asset Management professional to join its New York based team. Responsible for (among other things) reducing/avoiding expenditures when applicable, researching the most consistent and highest sources of revenue, and reducing liability and risk of real estate transactions. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and lead the leasing for a portfolio of mostly class A office assets.

• Prepares financial analysis to support leasing decisions.
• Analyzes budgets-to-actual results and financial information on a monthly basis and report noteworthy variances.
• Negotiate terms of lease contracts with support from agency broker and legal team

• Regularly and efficiently communicates with all parties involved in a project (i.e. sponsor, stakeholders, team members, etc.).
• Monitors all leasing activity to insure maximum occupancy and income and conduct credit checks for all potential tenants.

Qualifications:
• 3-6 years of relevant direct real estate investing, brokerage, private equity, investment banking, or financing experience
• Extensive understanding of real estate, with a proven track record of successful real estate management.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word and Excel. A working knowledge of ARGUS is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are required for establish and maintaining relationship with relevant parties (management, property management, brokers, landlords, tenants, etc.)
