A top-tier $6 billion credit relative value hedge fund seeks a Director of Trading Operations to manage counterparty relationships working in the New York or Greenwich, CT offices of the firm. The Director is responsible for managing margin and finance relationships across multiple prime brokers, derivative counterparties and fund structures. The Director will also oversee the Firm’s entire trade settlement effort, including the processing of derivative confirmations, payments and margin calls, loans, and private securities transactions and will work with the Firm’s trading personnel to optimize securities loan costs, and will be one of the principal points of contact for the Firm’s counterparties. The Director will also work with internal technology, accounting and other teams to design controls and internal reporting packs related to operational processes and assist with crafting the procedures for monitoring them and to participate in vendor selection, automation projects and system enhancements to the Firm’s proprietary trading and reporting infrastructure.
Successful candidates are likely to possess:
• A minimum of 6-10 years work experience in trading operations at a broker dealer or hedge fund
