1. Product Research & Development – Vice President

Primary Objectives:
• Develop expertise on all CAIS investment products and lines of business
• Manage a pipeline of available alternative investment funds and work closely with third party due-diligence partners to share insightful opinions with the product origination teams
• Coordinate and conduct manager and fund due diligence, through detailed calls and meetings with the portfolio management team, review of all fund documentation, and qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Partner with fund managers to ensure satisfaction by identifying and understanding their needs, and providing value-add feedback and support to the distribution team
• Join meetings with internal and external stakeholders to share fund expertise, and speak to the merits of investments and our due-diligence process
• Ensure unified sales messaging through providing regular updates to the distribution team on portfolio positioning, macroeconomic themes, and key selling points
• Support development of tailored product launch strategies and positioning, and product marketing collateral
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in financial markets with a strong focus in alternative investments, including hedge fund and/or private markets strategies required
• Existing relationships with asset managers required
• Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Econ, Business, or Accounting
• Series 7 & Series 63 (or Series 66) within 12 months of hire
• Demonstrated progress in CFA, CPA, CAIA, CFP, and/or CIMA strongly preferred
• Highly ambitious and collaborative self-starter with experience coordinating multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• High level of personal integrity and ability to consistently deliver high quality work product

2. Alternative Investments Internal Associate
We are seeking an experienced internal sales professional to join the Alternative Investments Product Specialist team. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of two years of experience in financial services and capacity to understand a diverse range of technical investment products. Working alongside the Business Development team, this person will help support senior members of the sales team by serving as a point of contact for existing investors and helping drive to new business by aiding the sales process. Qualified candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities
• Provide support to senior members of the Business Development team whose objective is to build and deepen relationships with CAIS clients and prospects
• Develop exceptional CAIS product knowledge, alternative asset class knowledge, and industry knowledge
