Stellar writing, editing, and proofreading skills required

Experience writing copy across a range of different print and digital

marketing vehicles, with an emphasis on fundraising

Strong verbal communication skills

Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with a high degree of creative initiative

The Museum of Jewish Heritage- A Living Memorial to the Holocaust is looking to hire a Museum Educator to help with group entry and the speakers bureau.

Responsibilities:

· Primary responsibility for group entry

· Provide support for Gallery Education in staffing, mass emailing regarding non-staffing issues, and, with supervisor, all aspects of programming four in-service learning opportunities annually

· Daily schedule reminders to group organizers and Gallery Educators

· Manage Holocaust survivors Speakers Bureau, including all aspects of on- and offsite events, the annual meeting, the monthly Sunday Speaker Series, and Yom HaShoah at the Museum

· Develop and adhere to Speakers Bureau budget

· Schedule volunteers for New Dimensions in Testimony (through April 2018)

· Manage all aspects of the Markowitz book grant with support of supervisor

· Lead tours as needed

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree.

Candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work in a team setting, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Some related course-work preferred.
