Summary
NCSY is looking for an accountant for regions across North America.

Responsibilities
Full understanding of QuickBooks functionality, and the regional bookkeeping practices and policies.
Determining best practices (in conjunction with NCSY Accounting) for all regions, and leading consistent month-end practices
Driving earlier month-end close to 7-10 business days after month end.
Daily/weekly monitoring of spending against monthly budget targets at regional level.

Position:
Director of Marketing and Communications
Position Summary
The Director of Marketing and Communications, in collaboration with the OU Marketing and Communications team as well as key NCSY stakeholders, will develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to raise brand awareness within the Orthodox Jewish community and increase revenue and participation for NCSY’s various worldwide programs. The ideal candidate for this position is a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, self motivated, brings expertise and broad experience across various marketing channels (social, digital, print, etc.), and works well under pressure and with tight deadlines. This position is located in New York City and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer of the OU.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide overall marketing leadership and represent and champion the NCSY brand while effectively guiding the strategy and execution of marketing campaigns.
Lead strategic marketing plan development to quantifiably achieve objectives, including but not limited to fundraising, engagement, and brand awareness.
Develop creative and engaging integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate digital, social media, direct marketing, email marketing, video, paid media, and event marketing.
Partner collaboratively with key NCSY stakeholders within each region to develop an annual marketing calendar to optimize marketing offerings and to promote efficiency.
Collaborate with each region to ensure their marketing needs are being met effectively and maintain quality control.
Develop relationships with partners and vendors, both internal and external, working within a budget to deliver high quality and timely materials.
Independently lead and make decisions that balance the needs of the program/project with internal priorities, expectations, and requirements.
Provide guidance and oversight to others with responsibilities that impact the broader marketing campaign/strategy.
Develop, own, and promote compliance with best practices to elevate the quality of outputs and to protect the organization’s reputation.
Promote executional excellence across all marketing campaigns and channels.

Requirements
Eight (8) + years experience in a marketing leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Have an innate understanding of customer service to ensure satisfaction across regions.
Proficient in setting and managing expectations.
Ability to set goals and accomplish them.
Ability to see the big picture along with the detail-orientation necessary to bring ideas to fruition.
A leader who can instill confidence and foster collaboration.
Excellent writing and presentation skills.
PR experience a plus.
